Design and Control of Back Exoskeletons for Industrial Applications

(Fall 2019)

Redesigned SuitX’s industrial back exoskeleton actuator into an uninstructive active device that would provide assistive upward forces at the chest. Force sensors and position encoders were selected to provide an accurate reaction force and precise position of the motor during user bending and locomotion ()

Guerrilla Street Light Projector: An Anti-Policing and Memorial Protest Object

(Spring 2020)

To address issue of police grade lighting and the lack of Black Panther Party Memorials, a hacked projector using the high power LED streetlights was created. The system is suspended from a streetlight and uses a laser to cycle through etched acrylic BPP images focused through a commercial camera lens ()

Simplification of Continuous Supercritical Hydrothermal Junction Simulations

(Fall 2018)

In order to validate simulation simplifications, 2D CFD in FLUENT 12.1 of mixing in a continuous supercritical hydrothermal reactor’s T-junction was conducted for varying supercritical and room temperature water directions and flow rate. The thermal and flow fields from the simulations were investigated and compared to previous 3D CFD research of the junction under similar conditions ()

Recreation of the Da Vinci Clock in SOLIDWORKS

(Spring 2019)

As project lead, I oversaw as well as participated in the recreation of the Da Vinci clock in SOLIDWORKS. Animations of the clock operating were created to highlight the many gear and pendulum mechanisms ()
